Progress on the new drive-thru Wells Fargo at the SE corner of Western and Clybourn.

This sailed through the ZBA while the fast food drive-thru proposal directly across Western was withdrawn after opposition.

The difference? One side of Western is in the 32nd ward and the other is in the 47th.

It's time for all good citizens to pick up a snow shovel and clear space around their nearest bus stops because both municipalities and private landowners don't #PlowTheSidewalks. Indeed, they sometimes dump snow in bus stop areas. Query: Is municipal failure to clear bus stops an #ADA issue?

Imagine a quiet leisurely stroll across Grant Park with the sound of hoots from a horned owl in the tree's. We must close the superfluous roads! Keeping access to parking makes complete sense, but why keep wide "pleasure drive" roads when we could have quiet cozy walking paths and a busway instead.
