YOU DON'T AUDIT AT THE PAYMENT PROCESSING LEVEL YOU AUDIT AT THE DEPT LEVEL. In what universe would you be in the payments system for ANY reason other than to (illegally) directly turn off payments?? None, ziltch, zero. This crisis is far from over.
It gets worse: Trump's Treasury Dept has a new letter spinning Musk's access to payment data as a mere "audit" that expands on work done during Biden admin. It's a sham. The letter simply ignores the biggest questions about this scandal.
