In light of today's news, I would like to make my position extremely clear:

Hold up, is a sitting senator calling for multiple states to gerrymander so that their party can keep power?

Texas is making a scummy as fuck choice, but this is just as disgusting. I don't care what side of the aisle you sit on, you should not advocate for gerrandering. Full stop.
Let's go. Democracies die when the regime operates outside of the box and opposition stays in it. Good for California. Other pro-democracy states should follow suit.

Early sketch of a concept I'm going to put together in the near future:

The Slingster. A rifle sling combined with a fanny pack-styled bag. The original idea came from "what if you could just grab your rifle and have with it the tools to fix any problems that might pop up already attached to it?"

Seeing a lot of justifiable outrage over censorship lately and am seeing a lot of fears that allowing the government to censor what it deems immoral is a slippery slope.

This is a valid concern and it is also the EXACT same thing that gets done with gun laws

Horrifying thought I keep having today:

In this generation, 35 years old is considered a queer elder because there was a plague that the government decided to let eugenically decimate the queer population and now 35 is considered old.

I want to cry but I am focusing on letting it radicalize me.

So not only did multiple people say "Yes, let's make a digital puppet of a kid to further our agenda," but mutiple people thought it was also a good idea to "interview" it.

I don't care what side of the debate you are on, this is disgusting. Truly horrifyingly disgusting.
At 4p ET/1p PT, I’ll have a one of a kind interview with Joaquin Oliver. He died in the Parkland school shooting. But his parents have created an AI version of their son for a powerful message on gun violence. Plus TX Rep. @jamestalarico.bsky.social - see you soon on Substack and later on YouTube.

It's weird that the side that decries slippery slope fallacies is suddenly expecting the entire damn world to end because supressors are no longer taxed

The backpedalling by the Cheeto Mussolini on the Epstein files is insane. The plan of "we'll just tell everyone we don't think it's important to see" is such a strange choice. Certainly doesn't look suspicious at all

My channel is many things:

- made by an obnoxious gun nerd
- obsessively pro all of the people being armed
- designed to piss off homophobic assholes

If you're confused about any of that, that's on you.

You know, I've never seen an assault weapon ban that uses muzzle velocity as a defining feature. I wonder why that is? I guess pistol grips and telescoping stock just up-pressure the cartridge somehow 🤔
July 3, 2025 at 8:08 PM
Nope, that is 0% okay. Absolutely no one, especially not the President of the United States, should be spitballing the idea that a mayoral candidate is an illegal alien based on unnamed sources
Trump threatens to arrest Mamdani and then adds, "a lot of people are saying he's here illegally"

It's responses like these that make me more opposed to gun control than almost anything

"One small step..."

It's never done, and any compromise made is just temporary until someone wants to take it later. It's dealing in bad faith

Sin taxes as a whole are abhorrent
Colorado is facing a lawsuit over a new excise tax on guns and ammunition opponents claim is an unconstitutional “sin tax” aimed at curbing America’s Second Amendment rights.
‘Sin Taxes’ by States on Guns and Ammunition Sales Face New Pushback in Congress, Courts
‘There is a growing effort among states to levy excise taxes to discourage firearm ownership,’ says one Second Amendment advocate.

So on the surface, I think the only thing I dislike here is the new age limit. We need to stop with this sliding scale of when someone is an adult, and if it isn't 18 then that needs to be changed across the board.

But, locked cases honestly doesn't sound like a bad thing all said and done
The Colorado House of Representatives approved a bill that would require stores to keep firearm ammunition behind the counter and would raise the minimum age to buy ammunition to 21, though a series of amendments would grant multiple exemptions.

I find it tragically amusing that SCOTUS is now trying to rein in the immune king they created.

So I find it interesting that Gonzales is trying to tie 003 in with the magazine law (again), but also that she's trying to make it sound like it's only reasonable that safety training should be required.

That is absolutely NOT what the bill she sponsored started as
Colorado State Sen. Julie Gonzales, one of the prime sponsors of SB25-003, responds to House Republicans' calls for DOJ to review the new gun law. #coleg #copolitics

Because I'm not a partisan voter, I feel like I get a weird view of both sides of the aisle. Like there are a LOT of double standards applied, but for most one party voters they don't see that. Both sides see their politics as correct and almost dont seem to pay attention to this
April 13, 2025 at 8:16 PM
I've seen a bit of the argument being made that people against SB25-003 should be happy because training is good and background checks are good and the opposition to those measures in the bill are just being obtuse.

The people who try to argue for support of the bill in that way forget that 1/5

RE: Last QT

Problematic language and assertions are an issue on both sides of the aisle. I want to strive to avoid that as much as possible, and correct it as best as I can.
April 12, 2025 at 3:36 PM
Want to point out an issue with the linked article, which uses "high-powered" as a term for what the law is affecting.

The issue is the legislation does not define that term or use it in conjunction with how they define a specified semi-automatic firearm.

This is honestly just one more piece 1/3

With SB25-003 having just been signed into law here in Colorado, I wanted to spin off a seperate account to have a place to post about the current state of firearm laws.

Armed queers don't get bashed. I want to advocate for gun rights for the queer community. We keep each other safe
