DS9 was a great series! As a (geek)² I was most intrigued by Jadzia Dax, the Chief Science Officer, perfectly portrayed by Terry Farrell. But her character was killed off at the end of Season 6. She'd refused to renew her contract due to a producer (Berman) she found to be misogynistic.
