Anglican dad, programmer, data person. An Andrew of all trades and master of none. Not popular enough to say "view are my own and not those of my employer."
The animation in that movie is fantastic! It's one of my son's favorite movies (he wants to be a stop-morning animator when he grows up).

I'd have thought that would have answered the question already.

I was recently acquainting my kids with Beck, Cake, and Weezer, and they kept asking why was "all the music SO WEIRD when you were a kid?"

I think the best that can be said of that movie is that it's at least better than Attack of the Clones.

Well, this ended up being an easy choice because the kid who usually doesn't like trick or treating decided he likes it now!

Most of what I've seen from LLMs - with the exception of a couple of fantastic (but costly) research sessions with Claude - is that you get a summary of Google's page one results. There is less training data for esoteric topics, by definition. So please continue to invest in research skills!

Similarly, with a technical discipline (like software engineering), you are likely to see the most common solutions to the broad problem you are interested in. There is likely to be a more efficient, elegant, or otherwise appropriate solution, but it's going to require research to discover.

For example, if you search for a recipe, you are likely to see the best of mediocre recipes at the top - the ones with the fewest bad things to say about them. If a recipe tastes incredible but requires more skill or time to complete, you probably won't see it because it has narrower appeal

I'm impressed! The look is very cool, and it seems like fun to play.

I can't count the number of times I've seen this: "Now that I've disabled the server from starting, the app runs without issue. It is now complete and production-ready!"

Also, I think that if I was not in tech, I'd be an accountant.
