This is the start of my media thread for 2026. Going to be doing it the same way as last year, so not much to say.

Happy New Year! What better way to start the new year then to look back at my favourite games and other stuff from the last year. Honestly I don't really have a particular order, I'm honestly not sure which would be GOTY for me.

*Cracks knuckles* It's that time of year again. Time for all us Ace Attorney fans to make the same joke.

METROID PRIME 4 SPOILER THOUGHTS:

I think there’s a running theme in this game’s story about loss, grief, and how people handle that tying everything together, which is pretty cool; it adds to the whole vibe of the game.

This is going to be the start of my 2025 media thread. Small change from last year is I'll put (R) in front of something I am replaying, rereading etc.

Happy New Year!

I've played all the games I can beat this year so going to list my favourites and yeah Metaphor Refantazio is my GOTY. A fantastic mix of different Atlus gameplay ideas while still being it's own things. Great cast and story tackles it's themes head on. Great time all around.

It's that time of the year again where the ace attorney fans post that one joke and I am no exception

Steam did their year in review as well. Don't play on PC as much so not as much (also I don't play zenless through steam so that would change the numbers a lot if it was included)

My Nintendo year in review. Only thing that surprised me was January being my most played month.

My most read manga on the Shonen Jump app. None of this really surprises me, all stuff I've been reading for a while

I am 26 today, not much more to add then that.

Not too surprised what ended up being my most play playstation games this year. I like Atlus and Falcom what can I say lol.

I kinda want to achieve some of my game opinions from pervious years from the other site(Games of the year basically). Not all these opinions will match what I think now but I want to keep them for memories sake if nothing else. These are 2023 and I'll keep the rest to this thread.

Not part of the first 10% but part of the first 20% (I think).

I just got my Master's degree results for indie game development and I have passed! Proud of my grade too!
I will be updating my portfolio and such with my final project soon and start looking for work/projects to work on.
Very pleased but also terrified about moving forward lol

I'm making a 2024 media thread this year, more so because I think it'd be cool to look back on the media I engaged with during the year, rather then a critical opinion piece on them. I'll include replays/re-watches but will mark them as such and probably not have much to say

It's Christmas Eve in the UK so as a Ace Attorney fan so I need to post this. I'd say I'm sorry but I'm not. This is the first time I'm posting this on Blue Sky so that's new at least!

So I finally got an account. I'm a 24 (soon to be 25) year old student game develop currently in his last two months of his master degree on indie game development for Falmouth University. Specialise in Unity and C# but plan to branch out Godot after my master's degree.
