What a great @aahmhistmed.bsky.social conf! Highlights for me include seeing my @urochestersmd.bsky.social student Bella present her poster, sharing a panel w/ two brilliant art historians (Mary Hunter and @drfijohnstone.bsky.social), and seeing the galley prints of my monograph at the book exhibit!
Me (a white woman with blonde hair in a green skirt and top) and my student Bella (a white woman with dark hair and a grey pencil skirt) in front of her poster titled "Behind the Bars: Anonymity in Patient Imagery in the British Medical Journal, 1870-1930". Smiling photo of three panelists seated at a table - Mary Hunter, Christy Slobogin, and Fiona Johnstone. A table with several books and two printed galleys of books, including _Putting Plastic Surgery on Paper: How Art and Archives Defined Second World War Reconstructive Surgery in Britain_
