The Church is spiritual sanctuary that is living and inclusive, is founded on Christ, his apostles, and the early Christians. Believers from every nation united in grace are bound together. Her holiness comes from the sanctifying presence of the Spirit who dwells within.

By the 2nd century, Church Fathers like Ignatius, Irenaeus, and Justin Martyr called the Eucharist Christ’s true Flesh. No one in the early Church refuted this as a “new doctrine”; it was universal from the apostles onward.

"Listen to His voice.

Do not be afraid!

Open up your hearts to Christ.

The deepest joy there is in life is the joy that comes from God and is found in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

He is the hope of the world.” — St. Pope John Paul II

CCC — 990 The term “flesh” refers to man in his state of weakness and mortality. The “resurrection of the flesh” (the literal formulation of the Apostles’ Creed) means not only that the immortal soul will live on after death, but that even our “mortal body” will come to life again.

At the Council of Florence (1439), 31 Eastern bishops, including the Patriarch of Constantinople & major sees like Antioch and Jerusalem, agreed with the #Filioque and signed a reunification with Rome.

Most later caved to political pressure once back home.

The first 200-300 years literally every CHRISTIAN believed the #Eucharist was the literal body & blood of Jesus Christ.

St. Ignatius of Antioch called those who denied the real presence of Christ were heretics.

Just as Paul needed the Law to reveal sin, Augustine saw that we need the Church to reveal the Gospel. Without the Church, we would not know which writings are inspired. God reveals truth through the authority He established, not private interpretation.

St. Augustine said, “I would not believe the Gospel unless the authority of the Catholic Church moved me.” Like Romans 7:7, where Paul says he would not have known sin without the Law, Augustine shows we need God’s authority to recognize divine truth.

The Resurrection of Christ transcends mere miracles or motives for faith; it is a transformative event that ultimately conquers sin and death (1 Cor 15:17-22). Baptism, in its essence, participates in this dual victory, as we are united with Christ in death and rebirth (Rom 6:3-4).

When the Bible replaces the Church as the “pillar and foundation of truth,” faith turns into a contest of private opinions.

#SolaScriptura leads to endless divisions as each person remakes the Church in their own image.
