I finally had a decent crack at photographing a hummingbird hawk moth, couldn’t wait to get home and see how the shots turned out in Lightroom.



Only to get totally distracted by a bee photo I’d taken 30 mins earlier.

One of my favourites from this year of a Meadow Brown backlit at sunset (and a tiny fly). I paid for this with midge and mozzie bites galore wandering around in the long grasses at the local nature reserve in late summer.

Even though the skies were grey, I wandered down to the local nature reserve with the camera. The autumn colours didn't disappoint.
