Peacemakers is probably one of my favourite books.

When I was re-reading it this time last year, it occurred to me that Trump is a kind of Bizarro Woodrow Wilson:

I haven’t read the book it’s based on yet but the author also wrote a great one about Theodore Roosevelt’s expedition into the Amazon after losing the 1912 presidential election

But going forward, if you do things on behalf of or to curry favour with the Trump Crime Family, you will eventually suffer the consequences.

The reasoning being to reduce the # of people with an interest in making sure the Dems never come to power again, and also deter them from more illegality.

After the Dems won a bunch of contests in November, I felt they ought to have communicated that, basically, they appreciate that everyone kinda lost their minds since January, and did things they oughtn’t to have done, so up until that point, any future Dem Congress/WH would let sleeping dogs lie.

Fortunately, I had some leave scheduled - so disappeared from the scene.

The MP found it amusing. It also reinforced the whole divide-and-conquer thing he was doing with me and CoS.

And like most bullies, the CoS didn’t dare confront me about it directly when I came back.

Thankfully, the MP and the CoS were in Westminster that day.

It was nonetheless embarrassing walking back into our office, where the other staff - who also hated the CoS - looked at me with bemused sadness.
