It’s been 7 months since we put together this very elementary brief. Since then people we are close to have had family murdered or passed away due to the lack of critical assistance needed that was being blocked by RSF. All this financed and facilitated by UAE, USA, and France.

This is why we collectively needed to reject the terrorism framework long ago. There is no equivalent to the counter-terror framework in eroding rights and legal norms.

Just devastating. All of the 500,000 who took refuge in Zamzam went through hell just trying to get there. A place that has provided very little real refuge. Then RSF attacks happen, aid orgs already overwhelmed both due to need + massive cuts to their budgets, available resources.
