Why only if they preach politics? They should be exempt if they file as all other non profits not in a separate class. Preachers should pay payroll taxes and religious organizations should have to re file a 990 annually to show how they spend their revenue and deserve exempt status.

This was a great opinion piece. Censoring ideas is not what free society needs. However we do need consistent, clear, unbiased criteria to judge those sources who will deliver us what they claim are facts. I am enamored with what this organization does. Thank you!
