Definitely agree. I expect a strong team tonight to secure at least a top 2 seed for the last 16. We want to be able to give our regulars an easy week next week before Bournemouth away. That’s gonna be a tough game.

I think Nunez, Jones and Gakpo starts with Diaz and Macca dropping to the bench. We’ll need a physical midfield against Newcastle.

Trent still starts but will be taken off between 60-70 mins depending on game state. Don’t think Elliott starts but will come on with 20-30 mins to go.

I think this is why it’s taking a long time for a deal to be agreed on. I know it’s kinda disrespectful from a player’s perspective, but Edwards, Hughes and co have to think about the mid to long term health of the club. It’s literally part of their job to do so.
