Wouldn’t it be more effective to move this to the ICE detention facility in Broadview?

Any governor who's talking a big game but refuses to deploy state/local police or the national guard against ICE should be primaried. ICE is blatantly violating the constitution at every turn and no one at any level of government seems willing to defend it.

In all honesty it’s disappointing to see the LDF laud Rep. Jeffries as some sort of hero when the speech has been widely seen as performative. Hours spent on the house floor condemning a bill that was already going to pass is time that could’ve been spent detailing a real plan to Americans.

Western leaders don’t realize the Pandora’s box that they’ve opened on the international community. Allowing Israel to indiscriminately bomb other countries and civilians whenever it pleases has now set a precedent for any other country to do the same and say “BUT ISRAEL DID THE SAME THING!”

As an American, I welcome other nations labeling us as an international pariah. The majority of people in the USA don’t care about our impact globally, and unless other countries stop treating us like a “friend” I really don’t think that things will change.
