Realizing a day late I should have done more of a blurb. Lesbian gothic historical fiction! Real ghosts vs metaphorical ghosts! Shipwrecks! Cold weather! Snowed in at a spooky hotel! The threat of nuclear war! Explorations of faith and community!

And of course now they have added showtimes 15 minutes from me on the weekend. I guess I’ll have to go again.

Despite the crowd, of course the movie rules.

I just finished N.D. Stevenson’s newest, Scarlet Morning and the pacing would be great for a read aloud. Prose but you get his awesome Nimona-y illustrations throughout. Only the first is out right now. and also this ones not fantasy but you might like The Swifts series by Beth Lincoln.
