This is one of the hardest lessons I've learned about life...not just for art either. It's okay to be unproductive some days, because you need that rest to keep the productivity alive in a healthy way. Otherwise, burnout and negative coping mechanisms are usually inevitable.
I'm just realising that it's okay to not draw and create every day and that "unproductive" days are completely normal and needed in order to preserve the joy of making art. I always feel bad when I take a day off but it prevents me from burning out myself.
