Cracked windshield on the car, so took it through to Autoglass in Cardington for replacing... cue a wander round the lake in Priory Country Park in the rain.

Even in winter, the children play by the pond at the edge of the woods; throwing stones to watch the ripples, floating cans as targets, but when the sunset turns the water blood red, they leave. They can hear the whispering in the reeds; unwanted playmates, cold as the grave. @hookland.bsky.social

The woodpecker is back in the garden- too skittish and fast for me to get a decent photo yet, so here's two from last year.

All a bit dated (Pan's Labyrinth is the most recent), but scenes that delight me every time 🙂 (picking just 4 is hard!)
