32 years ago, I lost 3 months of design and technology A level coursework, when one of the upper-sixth pupils knocked over a cup of aluminium powder from a wind-tunnel project, and it landed on my section of the workbench and got scattered onto my little box of discs... i'm still bitter 😁

3 days of my brothers and I typing out BASIC on a Sinclair Spectrum, copied line by line from a games magazine, unable to save it to tape until we'd finished, and my mum unplugged the computer to do the hoovering... still traumatised 😆

Absolutely- my autistic spectrum son experiences spikes of excruciating empathy, such that he can't comfortably watch "cringe" comedy - even things like The Office have him leaving the room. My autistic spectrum partner has been moved to tears by news reports, movies, and music.
