I swear I’ve gotten better at oil painting from watching your process videos over the years. Gorgeous work, as always!

So good!!

Your work in GORGEOUS!!! If I was in charge of excessive amounts of grant money, I’d have you do an entire public-facing wall somewhere packed full of these. The pieces are so beautifully arranged, and the character of the animals really comes through.

I’m building a muralist starter pack! It has some overlap with yours, I think.

I adore this! I love when muralists make their mural really fit a space. Well done!

Do you know if any of the artists are on Bluesky? I’m working on a starter pack for muralists!

Your work is gorgeous!! (Also I’m making a starter pack of muralists, and I’m definitely adding you!)

Yay! You added Krobus! I hadn’t seen your progress in a minute.

Thank you! I really feel like I’m at a moment where my skill is growing again—I’ve been spending several years now on that kind of subject matter, and I think things are coming alive in a new way.

Thank you! And I love your William Morris style patterns!

To clarify, yes, I did a job “for exposure” and it worked. But it was carefully planned, well placed, and of my choosing. The village association voluntarily covered my paint and materials. The wall is still an effective billboard that brings in local clients.

March 2020 I moved states & everything I applied to was cancelled soon after. I was inspired by local murals I saw while spending time outside & started seeing walls as canvases. I got permission to paint a prominent wall in a pedestrian area from the village association. Commissions followed.

I really like the inclusion of poison ivy in the rabbit painting!

Making progress!

I love this! They’re such underrated but incredibly distinctive birds. You’ve done them justice.

This is probably my biggest “green” painting! It features one of my favorite spring ephemeral wildflowers native to my region, Dutchman’s Breeches. They are named for their white flowers resembling little pantaloons.

Leek! Because making George happy for Evelyn is a priority. Evelyn is the unsung beating heart of the town.

I’m pretty sure you can, based on moderation options I saw under “Settings”. It looks like it’s allowed, but that users can toggle whether to see it, blur it, or block it. It looked like the settings also let users differentiate between art nudity and other adult content.
