I feel like be kind to people is a message that is sorely needed especially in media where you can only be kind to people if you are also being edgy or sarcastic. I think media has said kindness is dumb and (some) people have subconsciously agreed. It was nice to see someone just be nice.

Yeah I can see that, I guess I just thought they were going to slowly work up to their normal costumes. But might be presumptuous on my part!

That’s interesting take; I liked the costume in this one a lot, looked more like the Superman I grew up with; but I’m old lol. I guess because Corenswet is bigger he can look less like Superman to some… like Ben afflecks Batman was way too big!!

I mean I like man of steel when it came out, but I went back and watched it after Superman, and it just felt very weak. This was a much better movie imo. But we are all allowed our opinions. I liked both but this one just felt more Superman to me.

Could be a fake story but I heard Leonardo DiCaprio was told his movies were too enjoyable to get Oscar’s and he had to play in something less appealing to get one… like there are secret criteria for winning

Yeah the movie wasn’t super awful but it really felt like it was disconnected from what came before and wasn’t the direction the previous movies setup… but could just be me

That’s very strange to me, you’re right I’m sure, but I am talking about my lived experience. When I ask people questions like that and I do often; I have only one time gotten someone who tried to respond. Everyone else asked questions… maybe the people in my area are all the same or the setting

I haven’t met anyone who actually could, in fact in practice I’ve found it to be the opposite only very very few people could.

I do think we (the royal we) should stop using that term just because I’ve seen it weaponized against artists who are learning or don’t have “perfect” art and I think it helps people justify witch hunts against regular creators. Just my 2 cents
