I think a thing we'll learn tonight is that people fucking hate what is going on and they will straight ticket vote against anyone involved in starving people while pillaging the country and kidnapping their neighbors. I don't think it matters at all who that person is.

The Democrats just offered an amendment to the Republican budget bill that would have protected food benefits for families with kids 12 and under.

Every single Republican voted against it.

Remember that when they talk about “family values.”

It is mind-boggling that the answer to the question "Should we feed the hungry and heal the sick or give more money to billionaires?" leads MAGA to this spending bill.

Public service is about making people's lives better, safer, and more secure. Or so I thought.

Lord knows I have my issues with Gavin Newsom, but the man knows how to throw a punch.
Okay, Gavin Newsom suing Fox News for $787M in defamation - the exact same amount Fox News paid to settle their last Dominion defamation lawsuit - is hilarious, clever, and exactly the kind of trolling Democrats need to be doing right now.

Gavin Newsom sues Fox News for $787M in defamation case over Trump call
The amount is nearly identical to Dominion Voting’s 2023 defamation settlement with Fox News.

When was the last time we wondered about who puts things on shelves?

Today, those invisible ones are seen only to be criminalized for fleeing poverty and oppression.

Are they really stealing a glamorous life from us?

Pass it on if you stand with those who work in the shadows.

And that's the greatest irony of it all: that the very Evangelicals who've spent the last 50 years in this country demonizing those who reject Jesus are now the single most compelling reason for them to do so.

The Exodus From Christianity Has Been Caused by Christians
Growing up in the Church, I was taught that the worst thing one could be was a non-believer; that nothing was as tragic as a doomed soul that condemned itself by rejecting God.

RFK Jr. is very loud and very WRONG about Autism.

1. It’s not a disease
2. There are thousands of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder who pay taxes, have jobs, can use the bathroom on their own, and are thriving in life.

Looking back on Trump in politics, it’s clear that too few people took the threat he represented seriously; from the start.

He comes off as such an embarrassing ass clown, that it created a false sense of, “That moron…what a joke!”

The joke was on America.

By the time it was his turn to speak, he'd changed his mind

Never doubt that speaking out can change hearts and minds

I know this will get some hate but.. I've been a Tesla owner since 2018. It assumes a lot of privilege that owners can dump their worthless car and go out and buy a new one. I for one, cannot after lots of home repairs. Also, we need to be united not divided by this nazi asshat. (cont.)
