Stein: What is typical after a storm like this is that the federal government provides about 50, 60, even 70 percent of the damages in relief dollars to help a region recover from a massive hit. So far, North Carolina has received about 11 percent.

It was such a joy to celebrate Hanukkah with Mandy, Kathryn and their son, Gideon. As Jewish New Yorkers across our city prepare to light candles and mark the seventh night today, I wish you and your families a Hanukkah full of light and love.

Is this the tipping point? Is this the election that finally reveals how Trump “won” NC even though democrats had a virtual sweep of the statewide offices on the same ballot?

The North Carolina State Board of Elections is in chaos, and now led by people who do not believe in fair and impartial election administration.

There's only one way to overcome this kind of bias: to vote in large numbers that can't be suppressed. 📈

This is excellent news for NC!
Excellent news. Looks like former NC Gov. Roy Cooper will run for the Senate seat that Tillis is vacating. He has never lost an election in NC—after terms in the NC House & Senate, he won 2 statewide elections for Att’y. General, & 2 for Governor. He is the strongest sane candidate to win that seat.
Yes He Will
Almost every day, somebody asks me, “Will Roy Cooper run for Senate?” Yes. I have no inside information. But the former governor is putting together his campaign team. He’s speaking out on social medi...
