I guess we always learn life's lessons too late, that's just the nature of reality.

I hope I can at least be a PSA of sorts.

I don't know there's anything I could've done to change my fate in this world, though. Some flaws just flare up no matter how hard you try to suppress them.

That is to say that there is paradise in this world for those who live righteously.

I don't get to live there, but in my heart I know it's true.

There's no guidebook to modern life, and I'm facing a crossroads that only a few million have probably ever faced, so I'm grateful and respectful of that.

But sometimes it just feels like I'm stuck in my hole, like in that Junji Ito story. There's no way out but forward, and forward hurts.
