I can't stop laughing. I did the wings/flames mostly freehand after looking at pictures online, the body and head I saw online and liked. I was going to have them separate but it wasn't working. I didn't make the beak prominent enough so . . . now I have a flaming butt-plug! #Art

I worked on pumpkin carving last night during the Avalanche game. Still not deep enough for the wings though, and I was at it until after 10:00. What a pain. Bit messy but not the worst phoenix ever done, I think. #Art

I did this a while back. Don't have money to re-stock supplies. I like it, but I used very little green and it still became quite prominent. Also, I wanted more negative space. It's still cool, though. #Painting #Art #AbstractArt

Yesterday was ROUGH as it turns out my sealant doesn't work on alcohol inks and messed up some areas on the planter that I'm still trying to fix. But I saved most of it and I love it. Here are a couple of swoon-worthy close-ups. #Art #AbstractArt #Painting #Planter

I'm doing something totally new! I've got a GIANT planter, and I'm using some alcohol inks and plastic wrap to make a crackle effect. Wish me luck!
