Alright. So a couple days back I finished a recent Metroidvania called Constance. Specifically I got 100% completion, since I had beat the final boss and seen the ending already. And going back through left with an interesting impression.

Alright, been playing Ghost of Yotei for a bit. I am maybe only halfway through - and that's just a vague guess - but I do have a good enough sense of the game to provide some thoughts. 🧵

Been playing Hades 2 off and on since it's release to Early Access. I just finished the first big task and this I find myself just continually awed by Supergiant. 🧵

Alright, I am not done with Silksong, but I have definitely completed enough to put down my thoughts.

Anyway, I decided to pick up the Pac-Man Metroidvania - Shadow Labyrinth - and I got maybe 30-40% of the way through before stopping. 🧵

Back in 2020 I started up a little blog. I have been playing video games for decades, and within the past 8-10 years I started getting interested in thinking about design. If I liked or disliked something, *why* did I like/dislike it? It ballooned into a bunch of other topics...🧵
