They shouldn’t go into politics if they don’t have a backbone.

Well, for one thing, understand the United States has never been a democracy. Can’t “fight” for something that’s never existed.

I really wish I saw more people talking about the flotilla. There are protests erupting right now. I know we’re all tired but for the love of god this is important. Please. You can’t let Arabs and other marginalized people carry this alone, especially given the current state of the US. Please.

I don’t know if this will help or not, but I couldn’t get into my account for years and just stopped using it. I kept getting warnings about suspicious activity and the threat of losing my account. Last year I tried logging in using a different browser and had no problems via Safari.

I was supposed to be able to take care of my mom in her elder years and I can’t. I can’t even take care of myself.

My experience with Bsky so far is that I would have to be active 24/7 for engagement. The folks I used to send a little bit here and there were all on the bird site. I do not want to use X. I just feel so helpless.

My mom asked me this morning if she should try to donate plasma to cover the rent increase. The last time she donated she almost fainted after, so I begged her not to. I’m not hopeful about trying mutual aid again though.

I am still using the same wheelchair my mom got me 16 years ago that’s more for quick transport than long term use. It causes so much pain whenever we go out, but I have given up on getting a new one.

My mom is 75, she can’t physically work more than she already is which is still too much. I don’t know what to do. I tried mutual aid requests for a new wheelchair years ago on the bird site and I never got help no matter how active I was on social media.
