Of course the debates are not everything by a long shot. But it’s demonstrative of what would be her edge generally — authenticity, charisma, moral clarity and willingness to spell out Vance and Trump’s many evils and failings in clear terms. I think she’d get more Trump voters than one might think

Honestly i think she would win in a blowout if this materialized, but maybe I’m underestimating him. He was better at tempering himself in the VP debate than I’d guessed he would be, but I think AOC could keep a focused line of attack much, much better than Walz did

This kind of headline, factually true and clearly stated, does not appear anymore in any of the major newspapers in the US due to some horrible vestigial notion of “fairness” that winnows every incident down to “some say this, others say that”

I mean… I agree that this woman is very much not good and what the US state is doing there right now are unprovoked war crimes but from what I understand Maduro’s administration is super duper not an example of “successful socialism”
