It’s funny, they don’t seem interested in helping us adjudicate the truth with facts. They sort of just want to recite the conflict, make sure the right’s smears get plenty of airtime, and tut-tut about political moderation in very-very-grown-up language

Mamdani did more for Harris (voted for her) than it looks like my NYC rep will do for Mamdani. The excuse is that he “hasn’t done enough to speak out against antisemitism” which is insultingly ludicrous at this point, since he’s repeatedly done so while maintaining a principled stance on Gaza

C’mon though. Mamdani is the democratic nominee for mayor of NYC, and the party leadership has been incredibly and visibly reticent to support him. For me it’s about the voters — infuriating to overwhelmingly nominate a candidate and have Schumer and Jeffries treat him (and us) like dirt

Your vote is your own but I’ll say that in 2024 I voted blank in the *primary* and then voted for Kamala despite misgivings in the general. So you’re far less for party unity than I am! Somehow when a leftist wins a primary, all the moderate talk of “vote blue no matter who” goes out the window.
