Delighted to have chaired this workshop, and for the expertise, insights and enthusiasm of all participants!

We need to be having more of these discussions as the science advances, and - critically - bring in *and listen to* parents, carers and educators.

I agree (as author of the report). The issue is that when translation is discussed in the lit, the proposed purpose and context is a bit hand-wavy, and evidence base on how much extra PGIs ‘buy’ you given wealth of student data already available is lacking..I only found one study (that we cited)

Think of a polygenic score you care about. Are direct genetic effects driving variation among people in this predictor? Or perhaps other, confounding factors? We at the @arbelharpak.bsky.social & @docedge.bsky.social Labs developed a method to tackle this question. [1/n]
