Agreed. I mean, how are they supposed to gain experience at large international competitions if their federation won't send them? So what if they don't make the Top 10 or even qualify for the FS? They can still take valuable lessons from that experience and grow as an athlete.

My debut "novel" consists of four books, coming up to probably 400k words in total. Basically impossible to publish the traditional way, but I'm too stubborn to tear apart the entire story to appease an industry on the off chance it might get picked.
