I don't like their kickstarter business model. The way the prototypes of these things disappeared from the maker's table at pen shows, it's obvious they have a winning idea on their hands, and the way they are made, it would be easy to go right into production.

That job also got me out of jury duty once for a civil case in which an orchard was suing a company because their chemical apple tree thinner didn't do the job well enough, and their trees ended up damaged.

A little Hunter S. Thompson, a little Joan Didion, and a lot of not being able to pull either of those things off.

I like my Tuzu a lot. It compares more to a Lamy Safari than any other Sailor pen. It's very reliable and pleasant to write with. I'd shop around, though. That site is selling them for full MSRP. You can get it from other fountain pen stores for about ten dollars less.
