Was listening to the latest @theregulationpod.bsky.social podcast episode and @gavinfree.bsky.social brought up Pokémon, and I really want to know what each of the boys favorite Pokémon is; feels like that describes a lot about a person and am very curious. Also would love to know what the

Was able to fully complete editing, front to back, for 3 tiktok vids. Might not seem like much, but for someone who hasn't edited a vid since 2009 I think I did pretty well. Learning how audio works and what settings work well. Learning some basic editing shortcuts which

Update on my search for my childhood mp3 player, I’ve been looking at random eBay lot posts trying to find it, and today I struck gold. It was a Mymusix PD-205. Seems like a budget nano, which makes sense for the time. Ended up striking a deal with the seller and bought it separately!!

Me: *unplugs monitor*

MacOS: ah, I see you have unplugged one external monitor. Let me sensibly arrange all your windows onto the screens that are left for the minimum disturbance.

Windows: *static noises, crashing sounds*

Spending my free time today trying to find an old mp3 player I used to have. It was small, square, black, had rounded edges that were either silver or gray, an lcd screen on the top left (if I remember correctly), and a d-pad that looked like it was round. It was similar in design to the

Again not much to update.. won't be able to work on it today for some family stuff happening this afternoon. I will divulge a little bit more about it though with some pics. It's a 84 RX7 GSL. Still with a stock motor and 80K miles (I think).. and that's with the previous owner not

./GAMESTORYDEV

Realized I haven't given an introduction to this yet. Essentially I want to create a game based off of a storyboard concept I've been developing for quite a few years now. The way I want to approach it is a step by step approach.

Wires cleaned up a tad, still ugly af.

Like I said, super ghetto setup, but it works exactly how I intend it to. All inputs can access all outputs and do so super easily. I’ll deal with its disgustingness.. for now..

Would love to fully build out a custom desk, once I get the money.

Whether it's family or friends, losing people due to moral differences is never easy, but sometimes it's necessary. Asking yourself if you'd be close to the individual if you met them outside of the circumstances that currently connect you is huge and truly shows the reality

Adding this as a path not from a giving advice standpoint, but more so a log of things I've struggled with and what helped me move forward.. whether design or life in general. There's been a lot going on lately in my personal life and it's been eating me alive consistently, but

Been making some significant changes to my desk setup. My 3x2 HDMI splitter took a shit and I can't find any online that are decently rated. Instead of messing around with it I decided to get 3 3x1 HDMI splitters (one for each monitor) and 2 4-output HDMI "splitters" (duplicators).

Hey @dingdongvg.bsky.social do you have any recommendations on other online radio stations like yours? I’m very unfamiliar with them and would love to get more into them but have no idea where to start finding or learning about them

Will be continuing doing backups and getting my iPhone cleared out so that I can do quick and easy filming and file transferring for content creation. Don't want to be messing with a google drive or iCloud storage because videos get all weird or crap out halfway through the upload.

Not much of an update today as I'm from the midwest and storms are coming in, which means my garage is absolutely full of stuff from outside so that it doesn't blow away. Can't remember if I mentioned it last week, but I'll be working on getting the front arms out, which has been an

A family member of mine lost a couple of fingers while working with a saw. He’s a woodworker and this has added some serious difficulty to his daily life. On top of that, getting good, heavy duty prosthetics is hard, and even harder to get insurance to pay for it. Even then, you’re

Not too much interesting to log for today. Been meaning to do this for a long time, but just got a 2TB drive and finally running backups on all of my shit. Also got a lightning to usb converter so I can back up my iphone stuff and actually get an update for once

One of the first things that got me into designing stuff were cars. At the time it seemed like unlimited possibilities, plenty of untouched (from the state-side) jdm goodness, and minimal exposure of what was, then, a healthy "car culture". Obviously that's not what exists today..

./Hardware UPDATE: I gave up on trying to fix the NAS. Instead I just yanked the drive from the pi, wiped the mini sd, and started the process from scratch. What I didn't know was that users and their privileges remain even after doing that... so we'll see if I can get passed it or if I'll have to
April 17, 2025 at 8:16 PM
Thursday is supposed to be prosthetic, but I'm already going against that and doing Wednesday's focus of hardware projects. Need to get this NAS figured out today in order to have a space to put the content I'm creating for the other days.

On my quest to becoming a designer/inventor, I've quickly realized the amount of time it's going to take me to do so. Because of this, the research that will be required, and the sheer volume of things I want to achieve, I've broke it out into a schedule.

Been working more with the openmediavault NAS. Somehow messed something up yesterday after trying to reconfigure it to upload larger file sizes and I'm not sure what I messed up, but now I can't write anything to it. Gotta start from scratch all over again and want to jump out of a window.

Finally, after many attempts, I got my Raspberry Pi working as a NAS. Also mounted it to the desk for quick access, as well as the other controllers for hdmi, usbs, docking, etc. Still need to route the cords better..

ALL THE ACCESS, ALL THE CONTROL. Cyber god-complex in full affect rn.

Update on this.. getting it connected still sucks ass. There are currently two of the same computers connected to my phone's bluetooth. Half the time it won't recognize the phone, or vice versa. It'll randomly just lose connection with the phone.
bsky.app/profile/ace-...
Starting to use the phone link app between pc's and iphone. Getting the bluetooth linked is an absolute fucking chore, I assume because of all of the permissions that need to get checked as well as not having a solid order in which it all needs to happen. Once it's connected, though, it seems to
