Update on my search for my childhood mp3 player, I’ve been looking at random eBay lot posts trying to find it, and today I struck gold. It was a Mymusix PD-205. Seems like a budget nano, which makes sense for the time. Ended up striking a deal with the seller and bought it separately!!

Like I said, super ghetto setup, but it works exactly how I intend it to. All inputs can access all outputs and do so super easily. I’ll deal with its disgustingness.. for now..

Been making some significant changes to my desk setup. My 3x2 HDMI splitter took a shit and I can't find any online that are decently rated. Instead of messing around with it I decided to get 3 3x1 HDMI splitters (one for each monitor) and 2 4-output HDMI "splitters" (duplicators).

Will be continuing doing backups and getting my iPhone cleared out so that I can do quick and easy filming and file transferring for content creation. Don't want to be messing with a google drive or iCloud storage because videos get all weird or crap out halfway through the upload.

./Hardware UPDATE: I gave up on trying to fix the NAS. Instead I just yanked the drive from the pi, wiped the mini sd, and started the process from scratch. What I didn't know was that users and their privileges remain even after doing that... so we'll see if I can get passed it or if I'll have to

Thursday is supposed to be prosthetic, but I'm already going against that and doing Wednesday's focus of hardware projects. Need to get this NAS figured out today in order to have a space to put the content I'm creating for the other days.

On my quest to becoming a designer/inventor, I've quickly realized the amount of time it's going to take me to do so. Because of this, the research that will be required, and the sheer volume of things I want to achieve, I've broke it out into a schedule.

Been working more with the openmediavault NAS. Somehow messed something up yesterday after trying to reconfigure it to upload larger file sizes and I'm not sure what I messed up, but now I can't write anything to it. Gotta start from scratch all over again and want to jump out of a window.

Finally, after many attempts, I got my Raspberry Pi working as a NAS. Also mounted it to the desk for quick access, as well as the other controllers for hdmi, usbs, docking, etc. Still need to route the cords better..

Finally, after many attempts, I got my Raspberry Pi working as a NAS. Also mounted it to the desk for quick access, as well as the other controllers for hdmi, usbs, docking, etc. Still need to route the cords better..

Update on this.. getting it connected still sucks ass. There are currently two of the same computers connected to my phone's bluetooth. Half the time it won't recognize the phone, or vice versa. It'll randomly just lose connection with the phone.
