I wouldn't call 'MaXXXine' a "Bad" End to the Trilogy, but It is Definitely the Weakest of the 3. And Disappointing compared to the Previous Films. It has Great Stuff, Mia's Acting is Still Great, but Overall, It's a Weak Finale, and Now I feel Less Bad for Not seeing This in Theaters. 😐

Mia Goth still gives an Incredible Performance, as do the Supporting Cast, Kevin Bacon especially killed it in Every Scene He was in, Tyler Bates once again Kills It with His Score, The 80's Aesthetic is Great, Some of the Kills are Good, And while I think the Guy playing Her Dad was pretty Over The Top, I also did find His Performance pretty Amusing at times lol. But I have quite a few Issues with This One, Like how Predictable It was at many points. Mainly, the Twist with Her Father being the Killer. When I got to the Reveal, I was Not Surprised. The Pacing isn't Great, The Climax was also kind of a Dud, (Even if it ended with a Pretty Cool Head-Exploding Kill), Hell that Entire part of the Reveal where It turns out He lead a Whole Ass Cult that Killed Her Friends was just Fucking Stupid. I Did Not Like It. I Don't get why Ti West thought That was a Good Idea. It Should've just been One Killer like Both Previous Films. We Don't need a Whole Cult in This Mix. Also Weirdly enough, Max Herself barely does much in This Movie, Even Though She's The Fucking Star of It! The Worst Example of This being the fact that She's Not even the One that brings Her Dad down to kill Him, She FINDS Him Bleeding from an Offscreen Gunfight, and just strikes the Final Blow. That was so Lame. I would've like to have seen Her Actually Fight Him Herself and Overpower that Corny Motherfucker. Like, That Actually had Me a Tiny Bit Pissed. I Can't Lie

Paul Thomas Anderson dropped the best movie of his career, the year, and maybe the entire decade. It not only treats its audience with immense respect, but it also provides them with an emotional story and great action.
