My first ever terra sigillata pieces got raku fired and burnt with horse hair. This was a super fun method of finishing pottery and I can’t wait to try out more colors.

I know nothing about Alexandra Swarens personally, but I find her dedication to producing queer romances about, for, and by women - including specifically Christmas romcoms - pretty admirable. She wrote, directed, and starred in all of these (and other non-Christmas romances).

Learning a new technique called terra sigillata, an ancient Roman way of covering pots! Got to try out some fun new colors using mason stains. Excited to see them when they come out of the bisque firing. Fingers crossed no cracks.
