ICE has bought access to an “all-in-one” surveillance tool that gives it updated location data from hundreds of millions of phones, putting us all at risk of being tracked.

The government can’t be allowed to surveil us simply for having a cell phone.
ICE to Buy Tool that Tracks Locations of Hundreds of Millions of Phones Every Day
Documents show that ICE has gone back on its decision to not use location data remotely harvested from peoples' phones. The database is updated every day with billions of pieces of location data.

Renowned fashion designer and ACLU artist ambassador Willy Chavarria uses his identity and experiences to fuel his activism for immigrants’ rights, LGBTQ rights, and more.
Graphic with a photo of Willy Chavarria, a Latine man wearing wire frame glasses and wearing a blue ACLU ribbon, with a quote on the left that reads "The farmworkers’ union and the farmworkers’ movement with Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta were very important to us, because my family was working in the fields in California. I grew up knowing that those were my people, and I wanted to do what was right for my people." The quote is attributed to "Willy Chavarria, Fashion designer, activist, ACLU Artist Ambassador for LGBTQ and Immigrants’ Rights"

The National Guard is here to serve our communities in times of genuine emergency. This is their purpose, and they do it with courage and dedication. Their mission is to rescue our neighbors and rebuild our state, not to police our streets.

The Defense Department has disbanded a non-partisan committee that for decades has advised on the recruitment, retention, and treatment of servicewomen — including women’s full integration into combat roles.

The Trump administration isn’t up to the job in supporting women in our armed forces.
Hegseth terminates women’s advisory group, slams ‘divisive agenda’
A Sept. 17 memo signed by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth directs the “formal disestablishment” of the Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Services.

Today is the 52nd Anniversary of the Rehabilitation Act! Take some time to learn about this important milestone in disability history!
Watercolor orange background. Text reads: Today is the 52nd Anniversary of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Take some time today to learn about this act and why it is important to our community! The ASAN logo is at the bottom. Watercolor orange background. Text reads: What is the Rehabilitation Act of 1973? The Rehabilitation Act of 1973 was the first federal disability rights law. This law is also known as the Rehab Act. The purpose of the Rehab Act was to stop discrimination against disabled people by the federal government or any organizations using federal funding.
What is Section 504? Section 504 was part of the Rehab Act. It was the first federal civil rights law passed to protect people with disabilities. It said that programs that receive federal funding cannot discriminate against disabled people.
Watercolor orange background. Text reads: For many years, the government delayed implementing section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. In 1977, disabled activists, along with other community organizations like the Black Panthers, occupied the San Francisco Health, Education, and Welfare federal building for 28 days, winning their demand for the enforcement of section 504.
Like the disabled activists who fought for 504, ASAN will continue to work to protect and expand disability rights!

Over 30 years ago, the group 2 Live Crew successfully challenged government attempts to censor their music for obscenity.

Censorship is unconstitutional — and the government doesn't get to decide what lyrics musicians use or what jokes comedians tell on TV.

His administration is trying to use political violence as an excuse to investigate and intimidate the president's perceived enemies.
