We need to start pushing for generous UBI. If the AI overlords want to fire everyone and replace us with AI, they need to be held accountable for the social ramifications. The problem with Silicon Valley is a concentration of engineering majors that don’t understand or care about social issues.

Musk has never been interested in government “Efficiency”. He seized all these giant government datasets to train his AI on. Massive datasets are gold. Especially the very datasets he plans to implement his own AI on. That was always his #1 goal. And to drown out any competition in the process.
