They think in order to be a nazi someone has to self identify as a nazi. A nazi is just anyone who believes nazi ideology. A lot of modern day nazis genuinely do not understand or believe that they are nazis. Still nazis tho.

I was diagnosed with #HIV in 1998, when I was 30.
Many of my friends had died of AIDS. I did not expect to live to 50.
I’m 58 now.
HIV treatment works.
Treatment also makes it impossible for me to pass HIV on during sex.
Ensure HIV treatment for all.
End HIV stigma.

(sagely) there are three genres. Music that is "fun," music that is "boring," and music that is regrettably neither of those things.

And that's his pay for 2024, the year he was hired. He worked 4 months of 2024.
Reminder that Starbucks’ CEO made 6,666x more than the company's median employee in 2024.

This was the widest CEO-to-Worker pay gap in the entire S&P 500.

And we're supposed to believe Starbucks can't afford to bargain a fair contract with its unionized workers?

I wonder if I get so excited about snowfall because of the way the sun reflects off of a snowy yard. It blinds me in the same way as my therapy light for my seasonal affective disorder 🤔

I’ve been expecting dems to cave from the start, but I feel like I’d have been significant less mad at them if they’d done it a month ago than I will be now. Why let all this damage be done for nothing?

worth reiterating that in literally any other context a 10% tariff on Japan alone would be getting wall to wall financial news coverage, would be considered the largest trade war escalation in modern American history and the dumbest economic policy move by a President in decades

We knew exactly what this administration was going to do because it was written in Project 2025.

Folks can be surprised at how quickly it has moved, but no one can act like they didn't know.

The top 1% evade $163 billion in taxes per year — enough to end homelessness, hunger, and pay for universal childcare.

The media (as well as the entire federal government) behaves as if they know there will never be a president but Trump.

Show me where I’m wrong.

Yes, that's how you stop a guy that ignores court orders: with a court order.

My copy of "How to End Fascism" is missing the chapter on "hope the lawless despot obeys the law."

If the U.S. government is going to take the position that, once removed from the United States, folks can’t be brought back, then it sure seems to me that federal courts should be reflexively and categorically barring *all* removals until they’re 100 percent certain that the removals are lawful.
