Finished up a pencil #urbansketch that I started Sunday. Sketched while the kiddo played at the playground. Freehanding perspective has been an absolute challenge for me. It's far from great, but I'm happy to see improvement.

It's an apple! I'm not in love with the shading, but overall it's nice enough. Lately I've been doing lots of botanical drawings (apples in particular). This is colored pencils on Fabiano paper.

What does everyone use to scan their art? I've used my phone, but it doesn't seem to accurately capture colors, TBH. I also have used my Canon MG3600. It's a multifunction printer / scanner. I don't think it's particularly well suited for the task.

One thing that slows me down is perspective. I feel like I always need a ruler and lots of time for my head to figure it out. Today's goal, no ruler, accept errors. I did my best, still slow, and I didn't nail it.
