The resignations of Tim Davie and Deborah Turness must be an opportunity for the BBC to turn a new leaf, rebuild trust and resist those like Nigel Farage who want to destroy it

We must stand up for a strong, independent BBC, to stop Trump’s America becoming Farage's Britain.

If we tried to build the motorway from scratch now with our current planning system, it would take 3 times as long, cost 5 times as much and the M40 would have a missing 5 miles in Buckinghamshire because MPs were too scared of pissing off some rich old people.

There's a rumour that Nigel Farage is keeping his head down because he's off to a Trump cheerleading conference over the weekend.

I’m afraid I’m being proved right- Farage is far more interested in Trump's success than British security. He is a bootlicker and a plastic patriot.

🔥 This is an absolutely devastating set of figures on the UK public's view of Brexit.

Absolutely damning. Look at each category one by one - particularly the economic ones. YouGov article on these data here. 👉 yougov.co.uk/politics/art...

People are leaving Twitter because it’s not fun anymore and no one is obligated to be on a platform they don’t enjoy.

It’s not rocket science.

Wallace and Gromit productions should be subsidised by the government so we get a new edition every Christmas . It would be a first class cultural and financial investment of taxpayer money.

I genuinely thought the world would be a more pleasant place after Covid given what we all went through. Couldn't have been more wrong. Everyone's lost their fuckin minds.

They really need to make the standard announcement voice at Heathrow sound less resentful, it's not a great welcome to the UK.

Flair Airlines must win the award for tightest hand baggage allowance.
Only allowing 15cm of width for a personal item then forcing you to prove it by ramming your bag into a metal slot before you get a boarding pass is a level of budget airline humiliation I didn't know existed.

2 months left in Montreal. What must I see/do that I probably won't have found in the past 18 months?

Well, it's time for me to try an alternative Twitter to the one ruined by the psychotic man child.
