It's amazing to me that people on this app seem to live in another world entirely than those on X.
So why didn't they create fire breaks? More reservoirs? Thin combustible vegetation?

Something bugging me is this idea fanned by media that LA and CA were “unprepared” to contain these fires, in particular the Palisades Fire. It was a fire hurricane. Welcome to what climate scientists, activists, and regular folks who understand what they’re reading/seeing have warned for decades.
