This past Saturday marked 61 years since the birth of Chris Riley.

Chris played a pivotal role in Austin for so long, both on City Council and as an urbanist elder statesman inspiring the next generation.

I think of Chris often and miss him deeply. He'll be long remembered. Happy Birthday Chris!

Berlin could be creating a car-free zone larger than Manhattan.

This is the kind of big thinking that every city should have going on. Austin is considering a bond in 2026 - it should be chock full of BIG ideas.
