Thomas Frank sides are infuriating for their foul play. Complete banter teams. He would have managed Wimbledon.

A tough one ahead for #LFC. Real Madrid looked excellent against Barcelona recently — especially on counter attacks.

Chelsea player ratings as Ange Postecoglou is sacked following the 3-0 loss. I thought #NFFC played well up until they had to finish their chances today.

Chelsea ratings: Neto earns 8/10 in win at Forest that got Ange fired
Pedro Neto starred in Chelsea's 3-0 victory at Nottingham Forest that ultimately cost Ange Postecoglou his job after just eight games in charge.

The most forgettable night of the season for #LFC.

Liverpool actually made some reasonable chances despite the pitch conditions, but the injuries to Alisson and Hugo Ekitike could be very damaging to our early momentum in the Premier League.

Interesting penalty decision for Galatasaray that shows why Jeremie Frimpong should have went down vs Crystal Palace on Saturday. #LFC

Szoboszlai involved in everything good for #LFC this half — his delivery from right-back is crucial against organised teams like this
September 27, 2025 at 3:30 PM
I thought the #BallonDor would be more interesting now that it’s not Ronaldo vs Messi — I was wrong. It’s become a comedy with some of the hilarious shouts in this top 20.

@MoSalah was comfortably the best player in the world last season. #LFC

I’m still convinced Harvey Elliott will go on to become a top Premier League and international player. #LFC

So many positives from that #LFC performance.

Konate back to his best, Szoboszlai world class.

Milos Kerkez also won 7/9 of his duels despite the talk that Madueke was outplaying him. His best #LFC display so far.

Curtis Jones quietly impressive tonight. One of the few who looked composed under pressure. Excellent outside of his missed chance in the first half and pass he got wrong in the second. #LFC
August 25, 2025 at 9:10 PM
An important win but #LFC really need to pack in this inverted full-back nonsense.
August 25, 2025 at 9:09 PM
Sadly Konate’s worst game in an #LFC shirt tonight. Also conceding again from a full-back being in attacking midfield areas. Cheap free-kick conceded and that happens.

Chelsea went 87 minutes without registering a shot on target after their first one in an uninspiring performance.

Estevao and Andrey Santos wasted the two biggest chances of the game, but Josh Acheampong was the standout star at Stamford Bridge.

Draw a fair result.

A disgrace tactically. 2-1 up and an opponent is getting a counter-attack like that. Entire team in the opposition box. Deserve to concede. #LFC

Didn’t expect to see Mo Salah squaring up to Adam Smith for a scrap. The Premier League is back. #LFC

Real Oviedo confirmed the signing of former Liverpool midfielder Ovie Ejaria on Wednesday. Good to see him doing well! #LFC

Some heavy criticism for Alexis Mac Allister but nonsensical to see some writing him off as a player overall.

He wasn’t good today but crucial to remember:

- Not had a proper pre-season
- Hasn’t played or trained much in the 442/4222 system he was brought on in.

A lot of positives to take for #LFC despite the result but there are two key things for Liverpool to sort:

1. The confusion on the left side that was exposed by Crystal Palace too often

2. The change in system after Hugo Ekitike went off.
August 10, 2025 at 4:31 PM
Good half by #LFC. Not many have scored a better first goal than Hugo Ekitike. Some excellent pieces of link-up play too.

Expect Salah to be more involved as he will be in the shade second half.
August 10, 2025 at 2:57 PM
Darwin Nunez close to completing a move to Al-Hilal.

A lot of unfair comments consider him a flop — that can’t be the case when he contributed to 63 goals, many of them important ones.

#LFC must now ensure they get Isak — or it was likely better keeping Nunez to compete with Ekitike.
August 6, 2025 at 5:03 PM
#LFC with a strong opening proposal worth £110m for Alexander Isak. Talks expected to continue once #NUFC identify a replacement.

Options beginning to run out, but Borussia Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy would be Newcastle’s best alternative if they can’t get Ollie Watkins from Aston Villa.
August 1, 2025 at 4:03 PM
Good piece on Hugo Ekitike here from @andrewbeasleyfootball.com #LFC
"The former Paris Saint-Germain man bettered Isak for both non-penalty xG and xG Assisted last season. That will count for a lot..."

Ekitike is a Red. I wrote about him last week, the paywall is now gone. Give it a read, tell your friends: www.andrewbeasleyfootball.com/p/alexander-...
Alexander Isak or Hugo Ekitike?
Liverpool, Newcastle and Eintracht Frankfurt are locked in something of a triangle regarding two strikers. Which way should the Reds turn?

#LFC aren’t currently looking at Rodrygo as a potential Luis Diaz replacement, per @jamespearcelfc.bsky.social

Liverpool’s decision indicates that Arne Slot is ready to lock in Cody Gakpo as the preferred starter on the left, with another project player coming in.

Ngumoha unlikely to be rushed.
July 23, 2025 at 8:56 PM
Luis Diaz is still looking to leave #LFC with Bayern Munich keen.

Liverpool must now take advantage of a rare market opportunity to sign Rodrygo from Real Madrid.

A world class player capable of playing across the entire forward line, and a perfect fit for Arne Slot’s system.
July 21, 2025 at 4:43 PM
Should #LFC now keep Darwin Nunez? Four goals in pre-season, and currently Liverpool’s only senior striker until Hugo Ekitike’s move is confirmed.

I think he’s worth keeping for one more season, especially with the uncertainty surrounding the future of Luis Diaz, who also played centrally.
