In a way TII are right. Public transportation projects take so long in this country (Metrolink delayed again, Cork BusConnects...) that a quick fix is impossible.

I'd love to see Metro West but how many years would it take for it to happen? How many delays, objections, appeals...

Would absolutely love to see direct flights to Copenhagen. Always prefer flying out of Cork instead of Dublin.

It's so much easier in Sweden, where it's quick and easy to buy tickets on an app. Tickets are also integrated between bus, rail and tram.

Much better than constantly topping up a physical Leap Card through a faulty app, only to use on an incredibly slow machine on the bus.

Ireland acts like it needs to reinvent the wheel when better solutions already exist.

They should come look at Lund. Abundant cycle infrastructure separated from busy roads, in a city where it's easier to bike than drive.

Time to put the kettle on!
