New Orleans road repairs in a nutshell
The exact same piece of road, outside my front door, is being excavated for the fourth time in six weeks (and, at a guess, the twentieth time in six years). The road was resurfaced FIVE DAYS AGO. The people who paint the yellow line only did it YESTERDAY.
