Hard work is only half the equation; risk is the other. A nurse or teacher gets a guaranteed salary at the end of the month. An entrepreneur gets nothing—or goes bankrupt—if their idea fails. That risk deserves a reward, not just scorn.

I take your point. Unfortunately I can't read the article without an account.

Sure, immediately, the title says almost one third, of billionaires wealth is inherited. So by that reasoning, more than two thirds billionaires are self-made?

For most "rich" people, they have worked incredibly hard to be successful and get to where they are. They are also usually the larger employers. In the UK, you are penalised for doing so, and forced to pay for those who can't be arsed.

Clearly there would be exceptions but clearly to choice to have a child didn't happen the day it is born. What I'm referring to is that in most circumstances, around 9 months prior to birth, a choice is made. If one knows they can't afford to keep a child, that choice ought to be a wise one.

South Africa uses concrete Dolos's to hold back the mighty Atlantic storms. These would work so well here, can be made locally and the design was never protected. Because they lock together they don't wash away. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dolos

If minimum wage is rising to £10.85 for 18-20 year olds, £800m would fund roughly 73 hours per person? Roughly two weeks? What happens then, sack them or will employers be forced to employ on payroll?
