It's not that I don't want to Rest. I do! Very much!! But capitalism has rewired my brain to treat rest as indolence that will result in me losing my job. Which I know academically is very illegal and yet the fear persists.

I haven't worn hard pants in the now two weeks since my surgery. My post op is today and I wanted to treat myself to a nice brekkie out bc I also really haven't been in public on two weeks.
So I got up showered put on jeans and a belt....
And my body HATES this belt.
