The biggest flaw in the Billy Joel documentary is devoting no time to his signature achievement, "Oliver & Company"

Seconds to Spare (2002)

A made-for-TV Australian Die Hard clone set on a train. Shockingly better movie than I was expecting. The action and stunts are well done and the villain is fantastic. Very entertained by Jerome Ehlers performance. Can't say the same for Sabato Jr. in the lead.

Death Journey (1976)

Just laughable execution in every respect. Clearly a vanity project by its director/star. Also, not actually a train movie. There is a train on the poster but maybe 5 minutes of the movie takes place there.

I admitted missed a few weeks due to my Tuesdays becoming much busier. But! I'm back on the train now baby!

Week 23: June 10th
Death Journey (1976)

LAUGHABLY bad in every way. Acting is awkward, shots and lighting are terrible. And the poster is a LIE. They are on a train for maybe 5 minutes.

Week 14. April 8th
The Titfield Thunderbolt (1953)

A comedy about a wacky group of English villagers who try to run their branch railway line themselves after it's closed.

What a delightful charm to this! The can-do attitudes, The comradery, The drunken escapades! All very fun!
