Okay, I... love this idea? Literally just a portable monitor with a Mac mini in a velcro case on the back. Bluetooth or USB keyboard/mouse. Very portable and half the price of an actual MacBook. I'll probably do this someday. Could go even cheaper with a refurbed Mac mini.A

I just suddenly remembered the direct-to-dvd movie Live Freaky! Die Freaky! about the Manson Family murders. I saw it when it came out in 06. I won’t say it was “good” but it was definitely a movie. A whole list of punk people involved from Greenday, AFI, etc.

Playing with Photoshop this morning. I'm fairly happy with the graphic elements of this, and I think the double exposure works nicely. I like the slope from his shoulder to the background. I need to do some serious work on the typography to tie it together though. Not for anything, just playing.

I know December is a slow month for submissions anyway, but it feels particularly dire right now. It's disheartening how many of my top grinder results look like this. If you haven't responded to subs for six months, there's no way I'm sending you anything. :\
