Okay, I... love this idea? Literally just a portable monitor with a Mac mini in a velcro case on the back. Bluetooth or USB keyboard/mouse. Very portable and half the price of an actual MacBook. I'll probably do this someday. Could go even cheaper with a refurbed Mac mini.A

I just suddenly remembered the direct-to-dvd movie Live Freaky! Die Freaky! about the Manson Family murders. I saw it when it came out in 06. I won’t say it was “good” but it was definitely a movie. A whole list of punk people involved from Greenday, AFI, etc.

I’m making a sanity-saving agreement with myself. My ADHD has me jumping into new projects daily, so let’s try to curtail that a bit. If I’m reading a book and suddenly decide what I really need to be working on is [the type of thing I am reading right now] I’ll ignore it. I’m just enjoying a book.

It's a nonsense technology. If my earbuds are connected to my computer and I'm in the bedroom trying to use them on my phone, I have to get up and go manually disconnect them from my computer. How is that still a thing???

I have given up on bluetooth earbuds. I cannot stop losing them. I have eight partial sets on my nightstand, and even at $30 a set it's just too much. I'm a wired earbud guy now.

I just finished The Handyman Method by Nick Cutter and @afsulli.bsky.social. It was a great book, but oh god did it hit every one of my triggers. It’s a book about toxic masculinity, domestic abuse, and of course paranormal haunted house stuff. If you want to be tested, just be prepared for it.
