Why is the US government shut down?

The proposed continuing resolution bill needs support from 60 of 100 senators. The Democrats don't want to sign a bill that would cut healthcare from many Americans. All the Republicans want to cut the healthcare of Americans, overwhelmingly in red states!

Apparently, Russian support for their casualties is so bad that for every dead soldier, they only have 1.3 wounded. In Afghanistan, the US army had around 8.7 wounded for every dead soldier.

It's a symptom of Russia, and part of why they will lose.

It is possible that Russia will try to cause a nuclear release from Chernobyl or one of Ukraine's other reactors.

They should know that Ukraine is well able to reciprocate.

Ukraine is only hitting conventional Russian power plants, but it's as easy to hit nuclear power plants.

The EU should take out the Russian GPS spoofing transmitters. If that doesn't work, take out every military radar within reach. Russia can't afford to lose these radars.
